Saturday afternoon, in a fit of super-productive multitasking, I accidentally deleted my blog. It's really quite easy to do. Witness the Blogger help discussion board which gets ~20 posts a day with people digitally shrieking about their inability to view their blog, their inability to obtain customer support to restore it, their consequent inability to continue living, etc...
"MY ENTIRE LIFE WAS THERE?!?!? AND NOW NO IS NOT VISIBLE?!? HELO? GOOGLE EMPLOYEE PLEASE!!!!!"
Apparently they can sometimes be restored, but I read too many posts by people who had been waiting for months to really want to hold out for that. Let's be honest, humanity will survive the loss of my blog. And my thesis will likely be much better off. I scraped quite a few posts out of Google's cache, so maybe I'll get around to reposting those sometime. Now that I'm cozy with Wordpress and CSS, I'll probably go that route for round 2.
In the meantime, happy Hanukkah/Xmas/Kwanzaa/Yule.
P.S. I am seriously touched so many people noticed it went missing. Thanks! Now go back up your blog.
